Super foodCranberries, likely in the smallest bowl on the Thanksgiving table, are nutritional superheroes, high in compounds thought to reduce risk of chronic disease, slow the spread of cancer, increase effectiveness of chemotherapy, fight stomach bugs and tooth decay and reduce damage from strokes. Native Americans were using them when the Pilgrims arrived.
